It's the Spring Season!
For Spring Break we are offering garden camp in Asheville! This week lines up with the schedule for Buncombe County and Asheville City Schools Spring Break. We have themed activities that match with the season and will be loads of fun
Every Day
We organize our guided activities to surround a theme that we will explore for the entire session. Projects are set up on tables and intermittently throughout the day our staff guides another experience
Fresh produce is our primary engagement tool and it is very common for children to come home with food to share. Every day we cook something and every day we work in our gardens
We believe that play is a priority and encourage children to be free in their desires to play. It is common to see our staff and volunteers working on gardening projects while kids come and go, playing nearby
My three kids attended last summer and we’re coming back this summer. It was by far their favorite camp (and they are not the easiest kids). So much time outdoors, amazing enrichment activities, and the freedom to be a kid and play! - Katherine Smith, Google Review
My 3 kids really enjoyed their summer experience. Their favorite activity was getting to prepare foods and share them with myself & others. I feel that this camp is wonderful at fostering independence and nature exploration in a safe, supervised environment! Would definitely recommend - Sarah Copeland, Google Review
Both our kids participated in the program this summer and it was amazing! I had no idea they would enjoy gardening, playing in the woods and with animals so much! We absolutely love this program and the people who make it possible. Thankful!!! - Valeria Wyda, Google Review
