It's the Summer Season!
For summer, we'll have 11 weeks of camp packed with outdoor fun and hands-on activities where kids will play outside, garden, cook, create, and so much more! Each day is full of themed experiences that align with the season and are designed to inspire curiosity and joy.
Every Day
We organize our guided activities around a weekly theme that we explore throughout the session. Projects are thoughtfully set up on tables for kids to dive into, and our staff leads additional experiences at various times during the day.
Crafts, cooking, gardening, and even creating items for an apothecary are all part of our daily rhythm. Kids love getting their hands dirty and are always coming home with something they've been working on—whether it’s fresh herbs, handmade crafts, food they’ve cooked, or plants they’ve nurtured.
Fresh produce plays a big role in our activities, and it’s not unusual for children to bring home food to share with their families. Every day, we cook something together, work in the garden, and encourage kids to connect with nature and the world around them.
We believe play is a priority. Kids are free to follow their own desires to play, while our staff and volunteers tend to projects, whether it's gardening or building, with children often joining in or playing nearby. It’s a space where creativity, learning, and fun naturally blend together.
A magical summer camp experience! Gardening, cooking, crafts, play, tea time! Such a fun and wonderful camp. Really way more than we even imagined.- Stephanie Pereira, Google Review
Our son absolutely LOVES Garden Camp! He loves the outdoors, educational components and hands-on activities. Every day he comes home from camp with something special he handmade (like tea bags, soaking salts and garlands). He loves the baking they do in the kitchen and getting his hands dirty in the garden. - Eleanor Schwarz Google Review
My daughter has thrived at Garden Camp. She has been going for a few years now and it is one of the most meaningful and enjoyable experiences of her childhood, with memories that will last a lifetime. The freedom of play, the expansiveness, meaningful projects, and simply how each kid is loved and encouraged in their individuality has helped her grow into a confident, caring, mature child and we are so grateful that such a unique program is available to us. - Mary Ellen Lough, Google Review
